About us
Built in the
shadow of the
Annapurnas
A Muay Thai, MMA and boxing gym in Pokhara, Nepal. Open to anyone willing to show up and work.
Our story
Why we
built this
Nepal has never been short of people who want to fight. What it has been short of is places to learn properly: rooms with a real ring, coaches who can hold pads for eight rounds, and a timetable you can actually build a life around.
The Everest Muay Thai exists to be that room. We train the art of eight limbs the way it is trained in Thailand: slowly at first, then with everything you have. Alongside it we run boxing, MMA, grappling and conditioning, so whatever brought you through the door, there is something here that fits.
We are in Nadipur-3, Pokhara, Nepal, minutes from the lake and within sight of the mountains. Members are locals, expats, travellers stopping between treks, and kids who came for one class and never stopped coming.

How we train
What we stand for
Four things shape every session on the timetable, whether it's a first class or fight week.
Technique first
Rounds are earned. Every session starts with the shape of the movement, because power built on a bad foundation breaks under pressure.
Everyone starts somewhere
The person who has never thrown a punch and the person preparing for a fight train in the same room, and both get coached properly.
Hard, not reckless
Sparring is controlled and intensity is agreed. Nobody leaves this gym injured because someone had a point to prove.
A room, not a rota
Coaches know who you are and what you're working on. That is the whole difference between a gym and a leisure centre.
