Your details,

What we collect when you get in touch, why we have it, and how to make us delete it. Short, because there is not much of it.

The short
version

  • We only hold what you choose to send us in an enquiry: your name, an email address, and whatever else you decide to tell us.
  • There is no online payment anywhere on this site, so we never see or store card details. Training is paid for in person at the gym.
  • As things stand there is no analytics, no tracking pixel and no cookie of our own on this site.
  • Ask us to delete your details and we will, without asking why.

Where your
details
come from

The enquiry form

The contact form asks for your name, an email address and a message. Everything else is optional: a phone or WhatsApp number, roughly when you're training, and how much experience you have.

When the form is connected, that message is emailed to the gym and nothing else happens to it. If it isn't connected yet the form says so on screen and nothing is sent or stored. You'll be pointed at WhatsApp or email instead.

There is one hidden field in the form that people never see and never fill in. If it comes back filled we treat the message as spam. Beyond that, the form doesn't record anything about your device or how you got here.

WhatsApp and email

Most people reach us on WhatsApp. If you message us, we have whatever you send and whatever your account shows us, usually a name and a phone number. Those messages travel through WhatsApp's own systems and are subject to their privacy terms as well as this page. The same goes for email and the provider that carries it.

What we never collect

No card numbers, no bank details, no payment information of any kind. There is deliberately no checkout on this site: rates are confirmed by message and paid in person at the gym, so there is nothing for us to take or store.

We don't ask for health information through the website either. Anything about injuries or medical conditions is discussed with a coach at the gym.

The site itself

This site is served by a third-party hosting provider. Like every web host, it keeps basic technical records of requests (typically an IP address, a timestamp and the page requested) for security and reliability. We don't use those records to build any picture of you.

Nothing is
following you

At the time of writing this site sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no tag manager, and no advertising or social media tracking pixel installed. That is why you aren't being asked to accept anything when you arrive.

That's a description of today rather than a promise forever. If analytics or anything similar is added later, this page gets updated first, and a consent notice goes up wherever one is needed.

The map on the travel page

One exception worth naming. The Location & Travel page embeds a map from Google. Opening that page loads content from Google's servers, and Google may set its own cookies or log the request. That happens outside our control and under their terms, not ours.

If you'd rather not load it, ask us for directions on WhatsApp and skip the page entirely.

To reply,
and that's it

We use what you send to answer your question, sort out your training dates, and confirm a rate before you travel. There is no mailing list. We don't sell your details, share them with other gyms or tour operators, or use them for advertising.

Who else touches it

When the enquiry form is switched on, what you type is sent to Formspree, a third-party form service, which forwards it to the gym's inbox. Your message passes through their systems on the way. That is the only outside company involved in handling a form enquiry.

WhatsApp messages go through WhatsApp, and email goes through whichever provider carries it. Nobody else is given your details.

How long we keep it

Honestly: we haven't set a fixed retention period yet, and we'd rather admit that than print a number nobody follows. Enquiry emails and WhatsApp threads sit in the gym's inbox and on the gym's phone until they're cleared out.

Agreeing a proper retention period is one of the things the legal review will settle, and it will be written here when it is. Until then, if you want your message gone, ask and it's gone.

Asking us
to delete it

Message us on WhatsApp or email theeverestmuaythai@gmail.com and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We will do it, and we won't ask you to justify it.

If you're visiting from the EU or the UK you have rights over your personal data under the law where you live. We will honour access and deletion requests from anyone, wherever they are. What we are not going to do is claim a compliance certification nobody has audited: no formal GDPR assessment has been carried out for this site yet.

Photographs of you

Photographs taken at the gym appear across this site, including in the gallery. If you are in one of them and would rather not be, tell us and we'll take it down. You don't need to give a reason and we won't argue about it.

Younger trainees

We run kids' classes. If the enquiry is about a child, it should come from a parent or guardian, and please keep it brief: a first name and your own contact details are plenty. Age bands are confirmed at the gym rather than here.

Getting hold
of us

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. The next substantial change will be the reviewed version replacing this one.

Questions about your details (what we have, why, or getting rid of it) go to the same place as everything else:

Our Terms & Conditions cover booking, payment and training at the gym.

Questions about any of this?

Ask us directly about your details, a photo you'd like taken down, or anything on this page that isn't clear.

No online payment. We confirm your session by message and you pay at the gym.
